The Biggest Enemy Of Dreams

By Evan Sanders

"The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." Sylvia Plath

When we begin to doubt ourselves, our entire world begins falling apart. That's a pretty powerful statement, but if we actually dive into the after effects of what occurs when doubt crawls into our lives, it actually does occur. We can even take it a step further in regards to chasing dreams. Since the playing field is even more competitive, and doubt comes into our minds, that's when it really does spoil everything or seems to put a total and complete stop to everything we've ever wanted in this life.

You see, dreams demand everything from you. They demand your total attention, working ethos, eagerness, integrity, and eagerness to sacrifice a great deal to gain them. But when you start doubting your dream and what you are doing in life, you aren't giving it your all.

When you hear somebody talking of a dream, there's this sense you get from them that they know something is going to happen despite great amounts of anxiety surrounding the whole thing. There's a built in sense of belief that roots itself so very deeply in that person that they can't probably be defeated. That's true deep faith.

But when you hear someone who is talking about their passions, and you get the sense that they may be slightly on edge about it all, you can be pretty sure that they will never achieve what they set out to do. It's not that you are rooting against them, but it's that you know dreams take everything and giving it less than that, well, it just won't work out in any way. So pour yourself into what you adore and let doubt disappear from your mind. Others may say it's not practical but the unthinkable has been achieved many many times through history.

Give it a go. Anything could happen.
