You can't always be positive every single day.
Being positive all of the time isn't realistic because life is incredibly balanced. Life gives us a dose of negative to really help us appreciate the positives.
To be truly positive you have to be willing to suffer through the negatives. You have to be willing to fight through the dark times in order to see the light. Carl Jung once said, "The brighter the light the darker the shadow." That statement couldn't be any truer.
In my life, I try and keep my writing pretty positive and hopeful because I am out in this world to help others love deeply and perhaps, just maybe, something I talk about will help someone bring some light into their heart.
For years and years I've been writing down the stories of my life and putting them out there for the world to see so maybe someone would resonate with something that I've gone through and not have to suffer through the same type of event. These stories don't always start off positive, but they can certainly end on a more lighthearted note.
We all have incredibly dark moments. We all have those times where we are brought down to our knees. In fact, the more we open ourselves up in this world the more we become exposed to everything that could harm us. That's just the nature of living. However, when we do present ourselves as vulnerable beings in front of the world we are given access to incredible feelings and all that the world has to offer us.
It's possible to find light within all of this darkness. It's possible to bring a positive outlook to your life despite many negative things going on. Are you going to always be able to stay positive? No. But you can give it your best effort and attempt to see the light in all situations.
When you can take a negative situation in your life and shed light on it you truly can create something that can inspire the masses. Everyone really is struggling when it comes down to it. Everyone is suffering. But if you can try your best to see the best in everything you will be more than ok.
Struggle hard. Love hard.
