The Mushrooming Of Non Denominational Church

By Jeffrey Stone

Denominational churches have been taken by surprise due to the growth of these churches. These churches are spreading very fast, and statistics show that they will have a soon surplus the non denominational church. However, such a case should not be happening since they are all Christians and according to the early churches there was unity in times of need. Compared to what is going on now there is a very wide rift between them, and none wants to be associated with the other.

Many reasons led to this fallout as these churches made various steps that led to this search for independence. These reasons are both politically, religiously and even economically. Some of these reasons include.

The deviation of the attention of church leaders after the Second World War. The house of worship at this time became more interested in political recognition and having power. At this error, many organizations wanted to be identified as agents of peace through power. Some members of this house of worship were very keen to notice this and eventually opted to come up with their congregation which would have leaders who are more interested in spiritual matters.

In addition to this, the house of worship became less strict and became very liberal in their activities. Those people who were not traditionally allowed in houses of worship started being welcomed. Some church mistakes were not punished as to their traditional expectations. This made some members feel like the value of their church was diminishing. Due to the love for the church they knew from before, they opted to come up with their churches that could not allow such linearization.

Interracial marriages became very common in most parts of America at the beginning of the 29th century. However, these marriages came with one hurdle. Most spouses found themselves Christians from different denominations. Amid this confusion, some members of the congregation came up with the suggestion of developing a non-denominational church that allowed people to worship together despite the difference in their denominational backgrounds. Since it was something affecting most people, the idea was readily accepted by many.

There has been a problem with most denominational churches and these problems are felt even today. The law to be followed by any Christian despite their denomination should be the Bible. However, they are carried away by their doctrines which they follow to the letter and eventually forget about what the Bible wants them. This has made some members of the congregation to seclude themselves and from their churches as they feel what is being done is not just at all. They typically believe in doing what they think is right.

Most members of these churches have lost faith on how their finances are being governed by these churches. The leadership on its own is very complicated hence not competent in undertaking their duties. Unlike in other denominations, they have simple leadership structure is adopted and hence management of this house of worship is easy.

These churches should accept their failures and work on them or else non-denominational churches will be the one and only dominated doctrine.
