An Overview Of The Failure To Launch Syndrome

By Edward Green

Life in the childhood stages is fun, but the kids come to realize this after they are grown and cannot afford to sleep for half a day or play from morning to evening. Transitioning to adulthood is the toughest thing in the life of any individual. Many young men and women are facing internal crisis trying to gain balance in the world filled with responsibilities; hence, suffering from failure to launch syndrome.

Mental health is as important as physical and poor states manifest externally as well as prevent you from excelling. In the modern life, many community members use their time telling others what they should do and in the process make those who act differently appear as outcasts. There is a pattern of how everything should flow and those who are unable to live as per the pattern risk being victims of depression.

Everyone is bombarded with a stockpile of responsibilities and none will compliment your past accomplishments. Instead of influencing you to go to the next mile, some will pull you down by making you feel worse for failing to lead glorious lives like your buddies. Nevertheless, the criticism will never stop and the best form of justice to yourself is acting after feeling the inadequacy.

There are many who are unable to play because of the phobia that they might deliver poor results. If you look at the fiascos from a different perspective, they are the pivots of growth, because they teach you what you should not touch. Positive thoughts are excellent for motivation, but if you live in denial of awful occurrences, you are likely to suffer from paralysis. Thus, learn to maintain a neutral mindset.

As an adult, your eyes ought to be open all the time and you should be ready to act whenever you notice odd behavior. The common actions are telling others to take the duties, avoiding punishments by lying, carrying out their activities sluggishly so they can be excluded, and pretending to forget their duties.

The exposure to social media contributes greatly to the fear. Internet users can access multiple sources of information from all corners of the world; thus, instilling more fear than knowledge. Beyond this, broadcasting centers concentrate more on the failures of adulthood than the accomplishments; thus, adding to the phobia.

The nature of parenting is itself a problem not the solution. Many are over-protective and deny their children to experience disappointments, challenges, and adversities. Undoubtedly, the love is real and the intentions noble, but at the end of the day, the growing adults have nothing to hold on rather than the circulating information that the phase is hectic.

There are many community dwellers that live with the delusion that they are extraordinary beings and should therefore not encounter pain. Pushing the ideas away is a form of failure; thus, you should be bold enough to accept that all must go through fire so they can solidify. The belief helps you to move despite the heavy load and laugh instead of quitting after failing in your deeds.
